The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute or so over 24 hours; the movement is signed Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs.
The back of the watch has beautifully elaborate engraved initials. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good condition, possibly a later lens.
The black enamel dial is in lovely condition. It is signed Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool. The minute hand is a later replacement although the style is correct for the age of the watch.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
