Gents 1950s Junghans Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Junghans wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 93S, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute over 24 hours. The movement is signed with the Junghans star logo.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. Both the case and the lens are in good condition with just the odd minor mark. The case back has the Junghans logo again and it also states that the watch is shockproof.

The dial is signed Junghans, Made in Germany; it is in super order with original dauphine shaped hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
