Gents 1950s Oris Hand Winding Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A vintage 1950s gents Oris wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped fifteen 15 jewels, Oris Watch Co Swiss and the calibre number 392 KIF.

The watch measures 32 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The gold plated case has light surface marks from use and light wear to the sides of the lugs but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back is stamped Oris, stainless steel back, antimagnetic, 10 micron gold plated and waterproof although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being waterproof.

The lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Oris, waterproof, anti-shock, 15 jewels with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark. It has its original hands.

The watch has a later black leather strap.
