1920s Vicar Lever Pocket Watch, Gillgrass, Leeds

Description

A vintage 1920s pocket watch originally retailed by J H Gillgrass of Leeds.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to around two minutes over a 24 hour period.

The watch measures 49.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The enamel dial is signed J H Gillgrass, Leeds, Vicar Lever, with Swiss Made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition and it has its original blued steel hands (pin set).

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
