A vintage 1920s Vertex full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Vertex, 7 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The gold plated case is stamped Star, Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd.English make this case guaranteed to wear 10 years. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the back cover.

The front cover opens to reveal the dial with Roman numerals and Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch lens is plastic and has the odd faint surface mark although hardly noticeable.

The watch has blued steel hands ( the hour hand is later although antique).
