The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 49.3 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The silver case has Birmingham hallmarks for 1951 with the case makers mark A.L.D. ( Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd ). The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the back but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The white enamel dial has the odd faint hairline crack but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has blued hands.
