The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The movement is signed Record and it has the calibre number 110.

The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 39mm high including the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London 1954. The case has the odd mark but overall the condition is pleasing for a 1950s piece.

The lens has some short scratches but is acceptable.
The dial is signed Record; it has some Art Deco influence with the square subsidiary seconds dial and a square outer minute track.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
