Antique Full Hunter Gold Plated Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique full hunter pocket watch, circa 1900.

The watch has Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated full hunter case was made by the English watch case maker A L Dennisony and was originally 'guaranteed to wear 10 years'. The case is in good condition with just general light surface marks. The plastic lens is in good condition.

The enamel dial has some hairline cracks but they are faint. Blued steel hands (minute hand a little out of shape), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
