Description

A particularly good quality and elegant mid-19th century fusee WALL CLOCK by Simpson & Starkey of Hatton Garden, London.

The excellent quality substantial chain-fusee movement, with thick plates, is by Thwaites and Reed, and numbered 11381, whilst the dial is also in fine condition. The elegant blued steel hands are particularly pleasing and the clock is in full working order. Guaranteed for at least two years.

**The Thwaites & Reed numbered movement dates this clock as being made in 1853.
