1930s Art Deco Tempo Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930s Tempo pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute over 24 hours.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is rolled gold; there are some surface marks and a couple of small 'dings' but overall the case is pleasing for such an early piece.

The watch glass has some small marks across it but is very acceptable.

The dial has an interesting 3-D block pattern; the combination of this pattern and the stylish hands give the watch a very good vintage look.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
