Red Chinoiserie Lacquered Timepiece Mantel Clock

Description

A stunning red chinoiserie mantel clock, made in England in George V period, yet in the Chinese style. It has a bell top caddy top with a brass carrying handle and a white enamel dial. The French 8 day movement has a lever platform and is wound by key from the rear.(England and France, c. 1920)

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the moveemnt has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
