1920s Full Hunter Swiss Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s full hunter pocket watch.

The has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by a hinged inner cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Geneva Watch Case Company. Inside the hinged case back it states that the case is 'guaranteed for 10 years' - this would have related to the plated finish. The case is in good condition for its age with just one small 'ding' to the front cover but other than that, just light general surface marks from use.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in super condition and has gold coloured hands, subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
