The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The movement is signed Omega Watch Co, Swiss and it has the serial number 16,449,389 which dates it back to 1958.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold capped which means it has a gold bezel (usually 14ct), and a thick layer of gold over the lugs and the side of the case. The case back is stainless steel and it has the Seamaster logo, although the image is quite worn from use. The inside of the case back has the Omega triangular stamp and the case reference 2964 which is correct for the calibre 520 movement so we can be happy that it is as it should be. The case is in nice condition for a late 1950s piece with just general light marks. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good condition and it has the tiny clear Omega logo to the centre.
The dial has the applied Omega logo and is also signed Omega, Seamaster, Swiss Made.
The watch has been fitted with a new black leather strap; it is not a genuine Omega strap even though it is stamped.
