Edwardian Timepiece Carriage Clock C.1905

1900 - 1920
Description

A French Brass carriage clock dating to the early 1900's. It has a shaped loop handle, oval top window with a bevel glass, turned side columns and a reeded frieze top and bottom. The dial has a gilt mask and a circular enamel dial signed by the original retailer, mappin and Webb. The 8 day French movement has a cylinder platform.

Current Condition

The case has been polished and lacquered so it will not tarnish, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.

8.00cm wide 15.00cm high 6.50cm deep (3.15 inches wide 5.91 inches high 2.56 inches deep)
