Athey Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
the arched hood with three finials above a circular gilt brass dial with maker's name and seperate dials for the hours, minutes and seconds, the lyre form trunk with bow front door and carved anthemion details raised on a base with shaped apron and bracket feet.
some historical (long dead) worm holes to the hood and normal marks / scuffs commensurate with age but overall this is a magnificent clock in good working order and is really not done justice by the photographs.
