Gents 9ct Gold 1960 Tudor Wrist Watch, by Rolex

Description

A gents 9 carat gold Tudor wrist watch - Tudor was a brand of wrist watch made by the Rolex Watch Company

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement with 15 rubies, signed Tudor, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1960, with the RWC mark for Rolex Watch Company, together with the Rolex name. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Tudor, Swiss and has the Tudor rose logo. There is some freckling across the dial, and some age related discolouration.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
