The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 26.
The movement is signed Omega, Swiss, 15 Jewels and it has the serial number 10,107,143 which dates it back to around 1945.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs; in line with the fashions and designs of the time, it is a smaller gent's watch which would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is in good condition with just minor marking. The winding crown has the Omega logo. The inside of the case back has the Omega triangular stamp, together with the case reference 2165 (which is correct for the calibre 26.5 movement).

The lens is a later replacement; it is in good condition.
The dial is signed Omega. It is in its original finish; there is some minor marking but it is all very acceptable.
A later black leather strap has been fitted.
