Antique Kendal & Dent Silver Pocket Watch, 1887

Description

An antique sterling silver Kendal & Dent pocket watch.

The watch has a key-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. A key will be included. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is sterling silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1887. The case has the odd minor 'ding' and a little unevenness to the case back but overall is in good condition for a piece which is over 125 years old. The watch glass is in good condition.

The enamel dial is signed Kendal & Dent, Makers to the Admiralty, "The London Lever". There is a hairline crack between 12 and 3.
