Gents 1940s Smiths De Luxe Wrist Watch

Description

A gents 1940s Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, Made in England.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has light surface marks but overall the condition is very good for a 1940s piece. The case back has some fairly light scratches and small marks.

The lens has a light 4mm scratch but it is difficult to see with the naked eye.

The dial is signed Smiths De Luxe, 15 Jewels, Made in England. It is in beautiful condition and has its original hands.

A later dark brown leather strap has been fitted.
