A superb, 8 day, mahogany longcase clock with rolling moon, date and subsidiary seconds dial. Fine carved detail to the paterae and top of door. Superb engraving to the dial and winding square ends. Signed Miles Wedred [working in Kirby Lonsdale early 18c. Size approx. 93 ins tall, 23 ins across swan neck pediment, 19 at the base and 10 ins front to back.
