The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The niello ware case depicts a hunting dog with his catch. The case has some rubbing to the black around the perimeter of the case back and some surface marks but overall the condition is very acceptable. The back cover hinges open to reveal an inner dust cover which is engraved with various details of the movement.

The glass lens is in good condition with just minor marking.
When the front cover is on, the exposed dial is in good condition. When the bezel is removed, there is some damage, as shown in the photo. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
