18th Cent Mahogany London Longcase Clock

Description

An impressive 18th Cent mahogany Longcase clock by George Thornburgh, London. The case is in beautifully figured mahogany and has all the desirable features of a London clock. It has a nice moulded long door, brass fluted columns to the hood and trunk and double plinth base.

The good quality five pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has a very smart brass dial with the all important strike/silent selector.

The clock has brass case weights and all brass pendulum.

Both the case and movement are in excellent condition and the clock is running well and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

223cm (87.5") high excluding finial (+13cm)

51cm (20") wide

24cm (9.5") deep

Free local delivery and set up (75mls), national and international delivery arranged.
