A good quality late 19th century STRIKING CARRIAGE CLOCK by Henri Jacot, stamped with his signature on the dial plate and numbered 8042.

The eight-day movement within its good Corniche case, strikes hours and half-hours on a gong, and retains its original lever platform escapement; perfect enamel dial and fine blued steel hands. Perfect working order and guaranteed for at least two years.
