Small Walnut Regulator Wall Clock

19th century
Description

A small, spring driven regulator style wall clock in a walnut case, having a glazed door with glazed side panels. It has turned wood side columns and brass embellishments. The 8 day movement has an enamel two piece dial a gridiron pendulum with an enamel R & A plaque ( which stands for Retard and advance).It strikes the hours and halves on a gong.(Germany, 1890)

Current Condition

The case is in good original condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
