Oak Westminster Chime Bracket Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A well proportioned bracket/mantel clock dating to the Edwardian/George V period. It has a solid oak arch top case, with canted reeded corners. and brass bun feet. The silvered dial is profusely engraved to a high standard and is signed by the original well respected London retailer J W Benson. It has a German 8 day Westminster chime(Big Ben) movement that sounds the 1/4's and hours on chime bars.(England and Germany, c. 1910 to 1920)

28.50cm high 23.00cm wide 16.50cm deep (11.22 inches high 9.06 inches wide 6.50 inches deep )

Current Condition

The case retains its original finish as does the dial. The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.If you would like a video of this clock chiming please email us.
