Bow Fronted Champleve Enamel Four Glass Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A well proportioned, and very attractive four glass mantel clock. It has a bow fronted case with champleve enamel to the base, side pillars and cornice. The case has bevel edge glass a mercury filled pendulum and an enamel dial with hand painted floral garlands. The French 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong.(France, c. 1900)

26.00cm high 16.00cm wide 14.50cm deep (10.24 inches high 6.30 inches wide 5.71 inches deep )

Current Condition

The case and enamel is in excellent condition, as is the enamel dial and glass panels apart from a tiny nick in the front top right ( see photo). The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
