Regency 8" Drop Dial Wall Clock

Description

A Compact mahogany drop dial wall clock from the early 19th Century. It has a slim outer stepped rim, a cast brass bezel and a convex glass. The convex dial is signed by the maker Weber of London. It has a traditional outer box of pegged construction with a side and bottom door and a figure mahogany front panel with brass inlay.(London, c. 1830)

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the dial has been professionally restored, retaining the original ground and re-paintng the existing numerals and the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
