Vienna Wall Clock

19th century
Description

A superb, 8 day, burr walnut and ebonised, spring driven, vienna wall clock, C. 1890 with integral top, carved pediment, chamfered door sides. ogee double moulded base and fitted with fine turned finials. The white porcelain dial with roman numerals to the movement with in excess of 8 day duration, strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The fancy, grid iron pendulum in gilded and the R.A. porcelain plaque to the centre [has fisures]. Overall in excellent ondition, guaranteed for 12 months and measures approx. 38 x 13.5 x 6.5 ins.
