Early 19th Cent Scottish Oak Longcase Clock

Description

A handsome oak longcase clock by David Somerville from St Ninians, near Stirling, Scotland. He is listed as working there from 1805 to 1820.

It has a good quality oak case in excellent original condition. It has retained its original wax finish and is a lovely colour.

The 8 day movement has a most attractive brass dial with silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels.

The movement and case are all original to each other and it is in good working order.

The maximum dimensions are:

215cm(84.5") high

54cm(21") wide

25cm(10") deep

Free local delivery and set up (50mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost.
