Small Scottish Mahogany Longcase Clock

19th century
Description

A well proportioned mahogany longcase clock in a solid mahogany case. It has a swan neck pediment with a contrasting blind fret frieze. The arch dial is flanked by two reeded side pillars, and the glazed sides have rear frets. The arch top door has a boxwood line inlay as the base section. The silvered dial is hand engraved and signed by the maker William Hamilton of Whitburn. It has an 8 day hour bell striking movement.

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. Delivery and set up is available throughout most of the UK.
