19th Cent Wilson Dial and Movement

Description

A 19th Cent longcase clock movement. The dial is by Wilson and this is stamped on the false plate. The dial needs a little attention, mainly to the black works as the gilding and pictures are in fairly good condition.

Unusually for a painted dial clock it has a good quality five pillar 8 day movement that appears original to the dial. The movement is in good order and runs and strikes with pressure on the wheels.

The dial is 12” wide x 16.5” high
