Description

Attractive George III eight day mahogany longcase clock by Joseph Wallis of London. The break arch hood with brass finials & capitals and flanked by reeded columns over the beautifully figured arched trunk door and fluted, canted corners. The 12” dial has a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and intersecting fluer de lys. The dial centre is matted and has a silvered seconds ring and calendar aperture. Raised on shaped bracket feet.
