Made by the well known makers, Gillette and Johnston, in Croydon, London around 1875, this antique steam clock features Roman numerals and the faded makers lettering.
Gillette & Johnston Company are still going today, they specialise in public clocks and some of the most famous English landmarks sport their clocks.
