Regency Scottish Bracket Clock

Description

An exceptional Regency Scottish bracket clock. The arch top figure mahogany case is decoratively inlaid with boxwood stringing and the sides have brass fishscale frets complete with carrying handles. The clock has a convex dial signed Lennox, Perth and an eight-day fusee movement with an engraved backplate striking the hours on a bell.

c 1810- 1820

H. 19" x W. 9.5" x D. 6.5"

Edward Lennox is listed as working in Perth in the late 18th Century.
