Inlaid Longcase Clock by Goodwin, Newark

Description

A very decorative oak and exotic wood longcase clock by Henry Goodwin of Newark Notts. He worked there from 1815 to 1856,

It has a 30hr movement with an attractive painted dial with a scene of dogs to the arch. The clock strikes the hours on a bell and is in excellent working order and keeping good time.

The case is also in good condition but does have a little cracking to the veneer above the trunk door.

The maximum dimensions are:

218cm(86") high

51cm(20") wide

25cm(10") deep

Free local delivery and set up (50mls), national and international delivery arranged.
