Clock Longcase Grandfather Clock J Couzens Langport Somerset C1800

Description

Here we have a beautiful Oak longcase Grandfather clock by J Couzens of Langport Somerset c1800. As you can see the case has super colour and patina. There is a broken Swan neck pediment to the top with gilded brass roundels and eagle finial. The dial has gilded decoration to the corners and a second and date aperture. The eight day movement has been serviced and cleaned therefore ready to use. There are pillars to the sides of the hood with brass mounts and the door retains its original glass. The caes has all over crossbanded decoration in Mahoagny typical of the period. The original lock key and Diamond shaped escutcheon are in place. A super country clock of fantastic proportions in retail condition ready for your home. The clock comes with a years garantee if local and free set up and delivery. The dimensions are approx 80 inches high 17.5 wide and 9.5 deep.
