Edwardian Mahogany and Brass Inlay Ting Tang Bracket Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

An imposing solid mahogany Edwardian bracket clock, in the style of an early 19th Century clock.

It has a pagoda top, with five heavy brass finials. The case has quartered reeded side columns with brass capitals and is inlaid with brass lines. The engraved, silvered dial has a heavy bevel edge glass front door and it has beveel edge side windows. It has an 8 day quarter ting tang chiming movement.(England, c. 1910)

45.00cm high 25.00cm wide 17.00cm deep (17.72 inches high 9.84 inches wide 6.69 inches deep )

Current Condition

The case retains its original finish, the brass work has been polished and lacquered so it will not tarnish, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like to hear this clock chime, please either call us or email us for a video clip.
