Fine Mahogany and Inlay and Timepiece Mantel Clock

Description

A fine solid mahogany pagoda top mantel clock. It has a case with inlaid with chequered stringing and an Art nouveau floral motif, brass lion mask handles and brass bun feet. It has a beaded brass bezel and and embossed sight ring and centre, with a fine enamel dial. The 8 day movement winds from the front and has an 8 day lever platform (England, c. 1900)

23.50cm high 17.50cm wide 9.00cm deep (9.25 inches high 6.89 inches wide 3.54 inches deep )

Current Condition

The case retains its original finish, the enamel dial is perfect, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and benefits from a replacement lever platform.
