Mahogany Mantel Clock

19th century
Description

A very nice quality late Victorian mahogany arched top Mantel Clock with urn and floral inlay decoration to the front of the case. The clock has an eight day French Samuel Marti movement, white enamel dial and visual anchor escapement. It strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.

The movement backplate is stamped:

JJS

The Clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.

Height - 11 inches

Width - 8 ½ inches

Depth - 5 ½ inches
