Superb 8 Day Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

An exceptional quality 18th Cent Longcase Clock by Richard Wright of Chelmsford, Essex. He is listed as working there in the second half of the 18th Cent. This clock probably dates from around 1790.

The case is in superb quality mahogany with beautiful figuring.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has an extremley decorative engraved silvered dial with subsidiary date and seconds dials.

The case is in beautiful original condition and the movement has just been serviced and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

25cm(10") deep
