Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
There is a single door which is arched and glazed to access the face. Below the top are quarter columns on either side of the door which are fluted in the same form as the ones on the top, and a flamed mahogany and string inlaid door, all standing on bracket feet. The clock runs for eight days, and is sold with an overhauled movement and guaranteed working.
Size 228cm high x 52cm wide (43cm wide across the base) x 25cm deep.
