Georgian Carved Oak and Inlaid Mahogany Longcase Clock

A Very Handsome Oak Longcase Clock with a Painted Face and brass hands

The case has exquisite carvings, on the door of Jesters, at the base we have Medieval King and at the top a superb swan neck pediment. Around the door and face the wood is mahogany inlaid with box wood and the clock stands on a bracket footed base, a truly old and rare piece

This is lovely looking piece of Furniture, the clock has an 8 day movement, it runs well and keeps good time, however, this is not original to the clock case and dates from the 19th Century

The clock stands 86” high, it is 22” wide and 9” deep
