The 12" dial has black Roman numerals and is signed M. PRESTON - LANCASTER
The 8 day, chain-driven fusee movement has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.
The brass pendulum can be seen swinging through a glass window to the lower half of the case when the clock is working.
It has a heavy, cast brass bezel.
There are inspection panels to both sides of the backbox and a hinged lower door to facilitate easy fitment of the pendulum.
Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
