Brass Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality brass and gilt Mantel Clock with decorative silver and gilt front and side panels with black background. The Clock has a silvered dial with an eight day mvement that strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The movement is fitted with a pendulum start situated at the bottom of the dial.

The movement backplate is stamped with the makers name :-

JAPY FRERES

The movement is stamped :-

E.LOURDELET

The Clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.

Height - 9 ½ inches

Width - 7 ½ inches

Depth - 5 inches
