Small Walnut Timepiece Mantel Clock

Description

A small, rectangular walnut mantel clock, having a flat top, concave canted corners with a matching base moulding. It has a beaded brass bezel with a thick bevel edge glass and a white enamel dial.. It has an 8 day pendulum movement. (France, c. 1870)

18.00cm high 17.00cm wide 10.00cm deep (7.09 inches high 6.69 inches wide 3.94 inches deep )

Current Condition

The case has been re-polished and waxed, the dial is perfect, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.

Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
