Timepiece Mahogany Bracket Clock

19th century
Description

A solid mahogany Late Victorian Bracket clock. It has a caddy top with a brass loop handle and brass corner finials. The dial is surrounded by four inset quarter panels with brass mouldings. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals,and matching moon hands. It has an 8 day movement with a lever platform escapement. (England, c. 1890)

27.00cm high 18.00cm wide 9.00cm deep (10.63 inches high 7.09 inches wide 3.54 inches deep )

Current Condition

The case has been re-polished, the brass work has been polished and lacquered so it will not tarnish. The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. It benefits from a replacement lever platform.
