Spring Vienna Regulator Wall Clock

19th century
Description

A walnut cased "Vienna" Wall clock. It has a walnut case, with a break arch top, glass side windows and doors and ebonised turnings. The white enamel two piece dial has a gridiron pendulum with and R & A plaque (retire and advance). The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong. Made by Junghans of Germany. (Germany, c. 1890)

Current Condition

The case retains its original finish, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 month. There are some very faint hairline markings on the chapter ring. If you would like to receive a video of this clock striking and ticking please email us or phone us to hear it
