Porcelain Panel Timepiece Carriage Clock

Description

A superb, decorative timepiece carriage clock. The Anglaise case is inset with ceramic hand decorated panels, depicting birds amongst foliage with raised dot surrounds. It has an 8 day movement with its original cylinder platform. Made by Couaillet Frere, of Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont, France. c.1890

15.00cm high 7.50cm wide 6.50cm deep (5.91 inches high 2.95 inches wide 2.56 inches deep )

Current Condition

All the ceramic panels are perfect, the case has been polished and lacquered, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
