Swedish Mora Longcase Clock

Description

A traditional painted painted Swedish longcase clock, from the Mora district in Sweden. It has a drum shaped hood, a waisted trunk and an outsplayed base. The case is painted cream with grey highlights. The 8 day pendulum movement strikes the hours on two two toned bells. (Sweden, c. 1840)

Current Condition

The case has been re-painted, the movement is to be serviced in our own workshops prior to be delivered, which is included in the price.
