Georgian 8 Day Grandfather Clock in a beautiful oak case that was restored thirty years ago. The clock was made by John Olding, of Wincanton, Somerset in 1801, . It has an eight day workings, striking on the hour on a single bell. In full working order.

It has a painted enamel decorated face with a second hand and date aperture. The clock has been in the ownership of a local family for over forty years.

John Olding is listed in Somerset Clockmakers, By J K Bellchambers, published by The Antiiquarian Horological Society, 1968. as the maker of the clock
